APD Daily Report 07/09/13
In the last 24 hours Annapolis Police officers responded to 74 calls for service and arrested 10 people.
Auto Theft – 201300003188 – 100 block of Main St – 07/09 at 1:15am: Officers attempted to stop a blue 2006 Hyundai Sonata in the area of Drew St and Dominoe Rd for traffic violations. The two occupants ran from the vehicle. One of the occupants, Harold Mackell, 18, of Annapolis was apprehended. About the same time the vehicle was being stopped the vehicle’s owner called to report her vehicle stolen. Mackell was charged with theft from $1,000 to under $10,000, motor vehicle unlawful taking, unauthorized removal of property, and rogue and vagabond, he was released by the Court Commissioner.
