APD Daily Report 06/28/13

In the last 24 hours Annapolis Police officers responded to 102 calls for service and arrested 5 people.

 

Theft from Vehicle – 201300002963 – Unit block of Duke of Gloucester St – 06/26 at 10:30pm to 06/27 at 10:30am:  A black Gucci men’s wallet, a pair of Tom Ford sunglasses, and money were taken from an unlocked vehicle.   

Shooting – 201300002966 – 1400 block of Tyler Av – 06/27 at 12:06pm:  Brian Williams, 23, of Washington DC was visiting family in the area when a man with a handgun confronted him.  The man shot Williams once in the torso and fled the area.  Williams was transported to Shock Trauma and was expected to be released in the evening after treatment.  Detectives are investigating the shooting and anyone with information is asked to contact Det. Stolen Motorcycle – 201300002968 – Bywater Rd at Whiton Ct – 06/26 at 6:45pm to 06/27 at 2:40pm:  A blue and white 2004 Suzuki GSX-R1000 motorcycle, MD reg. D65966, with chrome wheels and neon lights under the body was stolen.
