In the last 24 hours Annapolis Police officers responded to 96 calls for service and arrested 9 people.
Good News – On 06/14 Annapolis Police Department hosted a BBQ and Bake Sale to benefit the Red Cross Oklahoma Tornado Relief Fund. We raised $586 to benefit the fund. The idea for the bake sale came from the police department’s Records Section. They organized the event with many other employees helping by providing food and supplies. We would like to thank all the city employees and others who came out to the event.
Burglary – 201300002850 – 200 block of West St – 06/20 at 8pm to 06/21 at 8:30am: The door to a business in the building was forced open and money taken from a filing cabinet.
Theft from Vehicle – 201300002938 – 1600 block of Virginia Av – 06/25 at 7pm to 06/26 at 7am: Prescription medication, a CD case containing 70 CDs, money, and credit cards were taken from an apparently unlocked vehicle.
Stolen Auto – 201300002939 – Unit block of South Cherry Grove Av – 06/26 from 6:45am to 8:30am: A black 2004 Honda Accord, MD reg. 8ACH60, was stolen from in front of a residence. The valet key to the vehicle was kept inside the ashtray of the vehicle.
