In the last 48 hours Annapolis Police officers responded to 200 calls for service and arrested 35 people.
Good News – The bicycle stolen from the unit block of State Circle between 05/25 at 8pm and 05/26 at 11am was recovered on 06/12 in the area of W Washington St and Northwest St. An officer patrolling the area saw Myron Jacobs, 26, of Annapolis riding the bicycle. Jacobs was arrested and charged with theft.
Attempted Armed Robbery – 201300002705 – 1900 block of West St – 06/12 at 5pm: An adult male got into a vehicle with an acquaintance and another subject he did not know. One of the subjects pointed a handgun at the man’s head and demanded money and a cell phone. The man fled out of the car, left the area, and called the police.
Theft of Bicycle – 201300002706 – 300 block of First St – 06/12 from 5:20pm to 5:30pm: A blue and grey Surley street bicycle was stolen from the rear of a business. After viewing video surveillance footage of the subject taking the bicycle, officers were able to locate Rodney Wilson, 53, of Annapolis in the area of Madison St and President St. Wilson was the person pictured stealing the bicycle. Wilson was charged with theft, but the bicycle was not recovered.
