In the last 24 hours Annapolis Police officers responded to 113 calls for service and arrested 8 people.

Thefts from Vehicles – 201300002672/2676/2677 – Unit block of Silverwood Cir – 06/10 at 11pm to 06/11 at 7am:  A black Garmin GPS unit, a pair of black Prada sunglasses, a pair of black with red soles, size 10.5 Nike Air Jordan Bred 11 basketball shoes, an Apple MacBook laptop computer, and a large, black Michael Kors purse with gold straps and a gold MK emblem were taken from three unlocked vehicles.

Suspicious Door-to-Door Solicitors
Annapolis Police Department has received reports of workers claiming to be from an energy company going door-to-door and asking residents to show them their utility bills.  While this can be a tactic used by legitimate companies to attempt to get customers to switch their energy provider, never hand over your bills or personal information to people going door-to-door.  You do not have to answer the door and can always call the police department at 410-268-4141 to request an officer to come out and check on the solicitors.  In Annapolis door-to-door solicitation requires a permit.
