APD Daily Report 06/10/13

In the last 72 hours Annapolis Police officers responded to 294 calls for service and arrested 29 people.

 

Theft from Vehicle – 201300002610 – 1900 block of West St – 05/31 from 4:30pm to 6:30pm:  A Lenovo Z500 laptop computer in a black leather laptop case was stolen from the front passenger seat of the vehicle.  The passenger side window was left down.

 

Theft of Bicycle – 201300002617 – Unit block of State Circle – 05/25 at 8pm to 05/26 at 11am:  A Scott mountain bicycle was stolen from an apparently unlocked vehicle.  The bicycle is black with white front forks, gold front shock absorbers, red stripes on the wheel rim, and Scott written in silver on the down tube.

Armed Robbery – 201300002648 – 2200 block of Bay Ridge Av – 06/09 at 4:50am:  The clerk was outside the cashier area of the business when he was confronted by two subjects demanding money.  One of the subjects had a handgun and told the clerk to open the door to the locked cashier area.  They forced the clerk to the ground and removed money from the cash register and cigarettes.  They fled the area on foot.

Theft of Bicycle – 201300002653 – 1600 block of Hunt Meadow Dr – 06/09 from 1:30pm to 2:30pm:  A Trek Skye bicycle was stolen from in front of a bike rack.  The bicycle was not secured or locked.  The bicycle is grey with teal swirls, a black and white seat, a Bike Doctor sticker on the down tube, and Bontrager written in white on the tires.

Neighborhood Watch Meeting
The next Neighborhood Watch meeting will be held on Tuesday, June 11 from 7pm to 8:30pm at Annapolis Police Headquarters, 199 Taylor Av.  Topics for the evening will include Internet safety tips and National Night Out.  Food will be served so please RSVP to Sgt.
