APD Daily Report 05/20/13

In the last 72 hours Annapolis Police officers responded to 281 calls for service and arrested 26 people.

 

Attempted Burglary – 201300002211 – Unit block of Maryland Av – 05/15 at 5:45pm to 05/16 at 9am:  The business’s rear door knob and frame were damaged and the door was unlocked, but it is unknown if the business was entered.

Auto Theft – 201300002241 – Unit block of Charles St – 05/17 at 9pm:  An apparently unlocked 2005 Acura was stolen using the valet key that was left inside the center console of the vehicle.  While the vehicle was being stolen it struck four vehicles and a tree.  The thief fled the area on foot after the accidents.

Theft from Vehicle – 201300002247 – 1800 block of Glade Ct – 05/17 at 10pm to 05/18 at 9am:  The vehicle’s glove box was rummaged through, but nothing appears to be missing.

Auto Theft – 201300002250 – 1000 block of President St – 05/14 at 8am to 05/18 at 11am:  A silver 2002 Dodge Stratus, MD reg. 7FFK49, was stolen.  The owner recently lost the keys to the vehicle.

 

Burglary – 201300002253 – Unit block of Parole St – 05/18 at 8pm:  A man came into the residence through an unlocked rear door.  The resident and her adult son were home at the time and when the man saw them he ran out of the home.  Nothing has been reported missing from the home.
