In the last 24 hours Annapolis Police officers responded to 79 calls for service and arrested 5 people.
Burglary – 201300002030 – Unit block of Silopanna Rd – 05/06 at 6:45am: The resident returned home and discovered a man she did not know inside her home. The man left the residence and the resident called the police. Officers located Carlos Medina Perdomo, 28, of Annapolis walking away from the residence. Medina Perdomo had jewelry belonging to the resident in his possession. Medina Perdomo was arrested and charged with first, third, and fourth degree burglary, and theft under $100. He is being held on $5,000 bond at the Jennifer Road Detention Center.
Stolen Vehicle – 201300002032 – 1300 block of Roosevelt St – 05/04 from 1pm to 1:10pm: A tan 1998 Chevrolet S10 pick up truck was left running, unlocked with the key in the ignition, in front of a residence. When the operator came back the vehicle was gone. An observant citizen noticed the vehicle parked in the 1000 block of Park Av on 05/06 and thought the two subjects inside were acting suspiciously. When officers arrived the two subjects were gone, but the vehicle was recovered, the ignition had been damaged.
