Citizen Fingerprinting

Lock Your Block

One of the easiest ways to become a victim is to leave your car and home unlocked.  Please help Annapolis Police Department prevent thefts in your neighborhood by making sure your block is locked.  Take the time to lock your vehicle and remove valuable items.  When you leave your home double check the door and make sure all windows are closed and locked.  Report suspicious activity to police by calling 410-268-4141 or, in an emergency, dial 911.  If you are a victim of a crime report it to police quickly and provide officers with descriptions and/or serial numbers of the items taken.  Talk to your neighbors and encourage them to lock your block.
