Maryland Police and Corrections Training Commission Police Officer Requirements:
- Must be at least 21 years old (at least 20.5 when entering the academy)
- Must be a US citizen
- Must have a high school diploma or GED
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Must not have any felony or serious misdemeanor convictions
If we are not actively hiring for police officers, but you would still like to be considered for the next round of hiring, you can fill out an application here. Your application will be held for a year and if there is an entry level test given during that year, you will be notified.
