Grants, Low and No Interest Loans for Income Eligible Homeowners.
Does your home need repairs?
If you own your own home and are income eligible, you may qualify for a State or Federal grant or loan to make repairs to your home. The City of Annapolis has several programs available to help homeowners with repairs to keep their homes in safe and sound condition. These programs can help homeowners with repairs like fixing faulty electrical wiring, leaking roofs, hazardous furnaces and deteriorated windows and siding. Grants, no interest and low interest loans are available to those who meet the following criteria:
- The property must be a single family house and the owner must live there.
- Household income must not exceed program limits.
Do you have special needs?
We also have a program for persons with special needs. If someone in your home uses a wheelchair or is hearing or vision impaired and you meet income eligibility requirements, we may be able to make improvements that will make it easier to get in and around your home. We can build ramps, install wheel chair lifts and grab bars and make other changes.
