Forest Conservation Act Process

The Forest Conservation Act Working Group was formed by the City Council on June 18, 2012 to review and make recommendations on the City of Annapolis’ laws, policies and procedures implementing the Forest Conservation Act.

In April 2013, the group proposed a Forest Conservation Ordinance for the City of Annapolis with an accompanying list outlining the changes from the States Model ordinance, a description of changes to the appeals process proposed by this group and a summery of the changes that will need to be made in Title 21 to enact the proposed changes.
