Office of Minority Business Enterprise

The Office of Minority Business Enterprise is Maryland’s official certification agency.  The Office administers the certification process designed to help small, women- and minority-owned businesses with doing business with the state government agencies.  It also is the states effort to assist those companies become eligible to recipe contracts awarded by most local jurisdictions and federal projects with whole or partial funding by the U.S. Department of Transportation. This is the online resource for information regarding certification as a Minority Business Enterprise (MBE), Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE), and/or Airport Concessions Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (ACDBE).
