City Government Offices Closed for Maryland Day
March 25, 2013
Despite City government offices being closed for Maryland Day, City Department of Public Work (DPW) crews have been out since 5 a.m. clearing roads, sidewalks and ramps.
Currently, DPW has five trucks clearing all main roads, connector and side roads. Most are clear and passable. Road temperatures are warm enough that slush is being reported.
Crews are currently putting salt on the roads as the forecast is calling for a total of 2-4 inches of snow before the system moves through the Annapolis area.
Refuse and recycling collection is not affected because of the snow.
