The Annapolis Pickleball Club! Pickleball is a combination of several racket sports – played on a badminton sized court with tennis net, an oversized ping pong paddle and a wiffle ball. Pickleball June 2015The sport is usually played as doubles. The Annapolis Pickleball Club plays on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 8 to 11 a.m. and Tuesdays from 6 to 9 p.m. on Truxtun Park Tennis Courts #5 and #6. If you're not a "Pip" Moyer Recreation Center member, the Club asks for a one-time donation of $10 to help defer the cost of balls and nets; wooden paddles are provided for newcomers to try out the game. The Annapolis City Council issued a citation to Annapolis Recreation and Parks and Jennifer Jennings for their representation at the White House in April during the 5 year anniversary celebration of the Let's Move! program. Check it out here!
