| Due to the City of Annapolis furlough day, the "Pip" Moyer Recreation Center and the Truxtun Park Pool will be closed on Friday, September 3rd. Normal hours will run on Saturday and Sunday, September 4th and 5th. PMRC will be closed on Monday, September 6th for the Labor Day holiday. |
| Help raise money for the Truxtun Park Pool and the SPCA! Come out on Saturday, September 4th from 5:30 to 8 p.m. to the Truxtun Park Pool for a Penguins Swim Team fundraiser. Money will be raised for pool improvements and for the SPCA. Learn more here: Information and Pledge Sheet. |

Back Creek Nature Park Welcomes Chilean Visitor
Marisa Wittlinger, center, meets with Manfredo Langer, right, the national coordinator of the Chilean Environmental Corporation's (CONAMA) educational program "Environmental Pioneers." The Environmental Pioneers program is CONAMA's national outreach initiative with assistance from the school system, community and civil society, and involves more than 50,000 elementary and secondary students throughout Chile.
