To report street light outages or repairs:

1. For wooden poles (they are maintained by BGE), the best way we’ve found to report outages is at BGE’s website. The pole number is requested; if you do not have it, just type in the address of the nearest house. Or... call BGE’s customer service telephone numbers: 1-800-685-0123 or 1-410-685-0123.
2. For outages on poles similar to the one in the photo and located in the historic district (maintained by the City of Annapolis), report it to Public Works. If your neighborhood has light poles similar to these but is not in the historic district, contact BGE or your community association.
3. Additional questions concerning street lighting (other than outages) in the City of Annapolis, should be directed in writing to the Department of Public Works, 145 Gorman Street, 2nd Floor, Annapolis, MD 21401 or e-mail pubworks@annapolis.gov.
