Back Creek Nature Park Improvements

Back Creek Nature Park is located at 7314 Edgewood Road and encompasses 12 acres. This newly-renovated urban ecology park is used for recreation and education on Back Creek, a tributary of the Chesapeake Bay. It includes nature trails, a picnic pavilion and a pier for kayaks, canoes and dinghies. The park houses the Osprey Nature Center and a classroom building that includes a green roof complete with living plants thriving on the roof. The Center offers educational programs providing visitors of all ages with a unique outdoor experience.
